I’m all for easy, pretty, affordable – like this set of sheer sapphire glass teardrop pendant and earring jewels:
A gorgeous color, and easy to use earring and pendant jewels. I think people really appreciate this today – when everybody is pressed for time, and most of us don’t have a lot of money – but still want quality. These are just what they’re supposed to be – no fakey stuff – pretty glass jewels. A great jewelry set.
And available in my Etsy shop. Well yeah, I’m supposed to say that 😉
(And if you need other colors? just ask. That’s a hint)
The color called “black diamond” is a neutral gray, always classy and attractive. And in this incarnation, these jewels are useful and versatile.
Add a pearl or teardrop to the bottom ring and you’ve got an elegant pair of earrings. Or use them to connect your necklace chain to your focal jewel – or linked to make a chic bracelet chain.
Useful, striking, sparkling. Just what you want your jewelry to be.
Because these glass jewels are beautiful – and easy to use – they appeal even to people who don’t have the patience for fussy detail work. And who like sparkly, feminine, classic jewelry.

Because sometimes you want to get something gorgeous – and you haven’t got much time. Grab this set of pink teardrop jewels. Add earwires: voila, you have pretty and feminine earrings. Get a silver chain, slip a jump ring and clasp on. Your necklace is simple – classic – gorgeous. You could wear it tomorrow with your new black tee and black jeans: instant work appropriate – and girly.
You could wear it for your wedding. You could give it to your bride.
*This* is the nice thing about DIY – without spending a lot of money ($6.99 for the set!) and with only a few minutes work, you just made something pretty and useful. And it’s done. And it’s easy.
These peach “cushion cut” octagon glass jewels are new in my shop – and they are getting some wonderful attention. Girly? yes. Wearable? yes. And, well, they’re gorgeous.
This faceted octagon cut just looks classy, whenever I see it – and I’ve been seeing it a lot of places. It’s a wonderful bridal jewel, it’s beautiful for party jewelry, and it’s also wearable for work – it’s not huge and dangling. It’s just a pretty, sparkly gem – okay, glass gem – that’s perfect for DIY earrings.
Or gifts, of course 😉
Because, well, orange. Hyacinth orange, it’s called, and it is a gorgeous color, and sometimes you just want that vivid accent.
The stones are tiny – 4mm, or about 1/8″. The whole connector is about 7/8″ long. Terrific for an earring dangle (add a pretty jewel to the tiny ring on the bottom, and your earrings are complete) – or link stones for a bracelet or necklace.
Because sometimes, you want that vivid, lively, cheerful orange in your day!
This pretty teardrop style is very popular in my Etsy shop right now. They’re about 1″ long – big enough to have real presence but not super heavy – and they have lovely sparkle. And a little extra something…
These are just some of the colors that are available – and the really fun part is that you can choose the color of those tiny rhinestones at the top. I show crystal (sparkly clear ones) mostly here – but you’ve got lots of choices, and there’s a drop-down menu on each listing so you can specify what color you want.
It’s a great way to tailor your jewelry to truly match your outfit – or maybe your bridesmaid dresses 😉
Because emerald is always flattering – much easier to wear than, say, olivine green (which I think is tangy and interesting and wonderful). But these emerald glass jewels? Rich and classic – and gorgeous. And: teardrops, because this is the most feminine wonderful shape.
And of course, it’s a Christmas color. Your earrings can be holiday(ish) and still be gorgeous! If, you know, you aren’t in the mood for Little Elf or candy cane jewelry to wear with your new LBD: velvet, long-sleeved, vee-neck (front AND back) dress.
Add earwires and your earrings are done. There’s enough fuss and frazzle in the world: make your DIY, fabulous, expensive (looking) earrings be easy.
Plus: May birthstone. Just in case you need to know that 🙂
The faceted rhinestone shape called “cushion cut” is one of the hottest trends I’m seeing lately. This octagon with rounded corners is appearing on high-end and trendy jewelry – and such a classy style!
These measure about 1/2″ x 1/2″ – a great size to add sparkle every day, without being too much. Of course the siam red color is perfect for holidays and Christmas.
I also have classic crystal (clear) stones available in my Etsy shop, as well as black diamond – and other colors on the way. These make great DIY earrings – check them out!
This is a pretty, almost petite jewel set – perfect for a bridesmaid or whenever you want just a hint of sparkle 🙂
See what I mean? These glass jewels aren’t loud or in-your-face. They’re delicate and lovely. The oval pendant is just 3/4″ x 1/2″ – perfect on a delicate chain, maybe with a small added cluster of pearls or sparkling little beads. The earring jewels are sweet teardrops, just 5/8″ long.
You can wear these anytime – and dress them up or down. This is just the kind of thing to make for yourself or a gift – it’ll go with everything.
Yes, they’re available in my Etsy shop 🙂
One of the prettiest new combinations in my Etsy jewelry supplies shop! These glass jewels make perfect Do-it-Yourself earrings for hmm….. your bridesmaids? Your homecoming dance? Just because?

Yeah, that’s the ticket. Just because. Add a pair of earwires and you’re good to go. And they cost you less than $5.00. And you can have them set in golden or patina brass, too. So: easy to use, inexpensive, and available in other colors for that matter. If you ever wondered why to DIY – well, that’s why.
Plus – pretty, girly, feminine. Those are good reasons too 🙂
P.S. Sapphire blue – September birthstone – just sayin 🙂
