Peridot green rhinestone octagons

The sheer peridot green rhinestone (glass) octagons shown here are fabulous for earring charms, glass connectors, and of course (you thought of this already) – pendants. This is a clean cut, beautifully faceted stone. It’s not loud or flashy but it has enough color to be noticed – and it’s large enough to have real presence!

No, these aren’t too heavy for earrings. I wouldn’t probably add two or three more dangles this large – they’d be fabulous and luxurious but yeah, also heavy. –Although on a necklace, multiple stones this size would totalliy work. Hmmm… it wasn’t on purpose but thinking of you guys has got me thinking of new designs now!

That’s the beauty of DIY jewelry – you can explore, create, and you don’t have to spend a lot of money!

Clear glass octagons for your DIY jewelry

I know, I’m late to post this! Life gets crazy sometimes (and I know we’re all aware of that right now…) But I do want to share these simple, lovely clear octagons – they are so easy to use! They’re terrific year round of course, with many coordinating beads and jewels. (And yes I’m going to post a few of those pics, just to spark some ideas!)

These are small, just about 3/8″ high. Just add your favorite beads or jewels to the bottom loop, attach with jump rings, and you’ll make some terrific earrings. Or pendants, of course. And yes, I’d love to see what you add to make your own creations!

I’ll add a few ideas of my own. Let’s see what we make in the next days or weeks!
