Here are some new (and some restocked!) vintage and new glass jewels in my shop – yes, they’re just in time for summer. But also? Pretty Fall 2018 jewelry designs!
Don’t you love the colors? I swear, more and more I am leaning toward pure tints, unfoiled stones – so I can really see the colors. Of course that can vary with each design, and every woman that wears these might see them differently – but I think we can all agree, we love beautifully faceted stones for earrings and necklace designs. Pure color is pretty terrific. Affordable stones is even better 🙂
(PS And there are more on the way – stay tuned or better yet, ask to see the colors YOU want to use in your designs!)
I just wanted to show off some of the pretty sapphire blue glass jewels that are available right now in my shop 🙂
Sapphire glass cabochons and faceted rhinestones – there are many more styles to check out. And right now, I’m offering a BOGO sale! Buy one pair of jewels – get your second pair free – and you get to pick the pair (subject to availablility, and equal or lesser value and all that). Just mention what you’d like for your second pair, when you order!
The BOGO offer is good from June 24, 2018 through June 26, 2018 at midnight (Central Standard Time here in the US) – so don’t wait!
I just added these sheer, vintage glass teardrops to the clearance section in my shop:
These are vintage, and in great shape for their age – but I don’t know if I can get more. The faceting is really interesting – it’s on the bottom of the jewel – so it shows through (there’s no foil on these) – but the tops are smooth. Very pretty!
And on clearance sale. As long as they last 🙂
And what is a torque bracelet, you ask? Basically it’s an open wire bracelet, usually doesn’t have a clasp, and can be twisted or opened to slip it onto the wrist. No worrying about fastening a fussy clasp – these just slip on. It’s an ancient design (Celtic, I think) – in the modern world.
The ones I’ve got in my shop have screw-on ball ends… so you can add jewels or charms that are personal and special for your bestie, or your mom, or a customer… or yourself 🙂 Attach your charms with wire-wrapped loops, or sturdy jump rings. Unscrew the ball end, slip on your charms, and restore the ball end. Your charm won’t get lost!

That second pic shows one example of how you can personalize your bracelet. Choose favorite colors and charms, add as many multiples as you want, and you’re good to go. Easy peasy, and fun, and did I mention these are a great buy at just $1.69?
Just saying 🙂
And I just wanted to mention, I’ve added the stock I have left of the aqua vintage glass pendants – pictured below – to my Clearance sale. I don’t know if I can get any more, so it just seems fair that the last dozen or so be available at a great clearance price!
I might be able to get more, down the road – but with vintage there are no guarantees. It’s such a pretty pendant – and so easy to use, just add a jump ring and chain and you’ve got a lovely piece of jewelry!
That’s the way it’s supposed to be. And these are on sale!
I realized the other day that I was looking for clearance items in a couple shops I visited. And then a light bulb went off. I could do a clearance sale! Or a clearance Section – for those styles where I only have a few left, or they’re really hard to set and I don’t think I’m going to get more, or I just decided to mark them down. A clearance section, what a great idea!
Yes of course it’s a ploy to get you to visit my shop. And to find great deals. And rhinestone jewels you’ll love. That kind of ploy. (Cross heart, I think you’ll love them!)
Amethyst rhinestone teardrops combined with sparkling crystal rounds – in clear crystal, or colors – are a classic earring design. They’re also easy to create – and change to suit your own taste. These are just a few examples 🙂

You see what I mean? Different color combos – and each looks great – so you know you can match your prom dress, bridesmaid colors, or just choose your favorite!
That’s what DIY jewelry is all about – make what you want, the way you want it, and you don’t have to spend a lot of money!
Of course you might make peach rhinestone jewelry for any occasion – it just reminds me so much of bridesmaid pretties! I think because at both of the weddings I’ve been to in the past year, the bridesmaids wore peach. (Okay, peach and white… and at the other, peach and lilac, very pretty!)
And right now, I’m offering a BOGO sale 🙂

So feminine and pretty! And that BOGO sale I mentioned? From May 21, 2018 through May 24, 2018 (at midnight) – for every pair of peach jewels you buy (or pendant jewel) you can choose another pair for free.
Your bridesmaids – or girlfriend, or mom, or you! – will love them 🙂
And if you’re not in the mood for neutrals, these peridot green rhinestone teardrops – great for pendants or earrings – will totally make your day.
It might also be of interest to point out that peridot is the birthstone color for August. Just saying 🙂
And it also won’t hurt to mention that from May 15, 2018 through midnight on May 18, 2018, when you buy any peridot green glass jewels (pendant or pair of jewels, I mean) – you get your second item of equal or lesser value for free. Just because 🙂
So: August birthstone. Gorgeous sparkling color. Beautiful and affordable glass jewels for your own DIY jewelry – or for gifts. She’ll love these!
Bridal jewelry is such a joy to create! It’s a wonderful feeling, knowing that your customer, or your giftee, is going to wear your jewelry to her wedding. It’s the happiest occasion – and you know how beautiful brides are! That your jewelry is part of the day is a special honor 🙂
I did a quick design idea showing pretty crystal stones, pre-set in silver plated brass settings (so you don’t have to do that job) – in a design that I’ve already shared with two brides. In different states, they won’t run into each other 🙂
These look fairly large in the pic – they’re actually only about 2″ long. They’ll add wonderful sparkle, and they’ll definitely be noticed – but they’re not super heavy. And of course as a designer and jewelry maker, you’ll create your own spin on this design. Different elements, different combinations… post earrings, french earwires, leverbacks.
And a happy bride – that’s the best part of all 🙂
