Garnet Red Glass Stones – on sale!

Garnet red is a rich, deep jewel tone that’s flattering on everyone – not difficult to wear like, say, lime green is (though that’s totally a fun color!) And garnet has long been associated with love 🙂

Which is a pretty cool concept when you’re thinking of making some Christmas gifts, or perhaps selling some favorite jewelry styles that your customers love. Garnet – great in winter, but think how fabulous with a turquoise tank top in summer, too. This rich color just works!

And right now the garnet glass stones in my shop are on sale – from today through Friday, December 12, 2025, you can buy one pair – and get one free! Just mention this blog post when you order. Limited to what I have available right now – but I stocked up.

Make some fabulous Christmas gifts – there’s still time!

Amethyst and Aqua Glass Gem Earrings

Lovely earring design featuring amethyst purple diamond shape glass gems, paired with rich aqua blue oval glass stones. Beautiful and flattering colors in a timeless classic style!

Just to show that jewelry gifts don’t have to be red and green – or any specific color. You want to make lovely jewelry for gifts, for sale, and for yourself – and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune 😉

So yes, check out more colors in my shop – there’s still time before Christmas!

Customize these golden tan teardrop jewels

The faceted glass, multi-stone teardrop in this listing is often used for earrings – I wanted to show how lovely it can be as a pendant!

The jewel (multi stone) is 26mm x 13mm – that’s approximately one inch high. The teardrop shape here is what’s called “colorado topaz” – a light golden tan. And you pick the small round stone at the top of the setting – so it’s easy to customize these. Her favorite outfit is an aqua sweater with a tan skirt? Pick aqua blue for the tiny stones here! You get the idea. Customize the jewels – and make an easy to use, easy to wear pendant!

Sparkling clear glass stones

I wanted to show you how clear glass stones – yes, absolutely clear ones, with no color or foil backing – can still have a quiet-but-pretty sparkkle. And make lovely jewelry!

The mannequin in this pic is close to life size, so you can see the scale of these sparkling, clear glass jewels. I used good lighting taking this pic – but it wasn’t unnaturally bright or anything. Walk into a well lit room and this is what your clear jewelry looks like! Combine these clear 10x10mm diamond shape stones, and 14x10mm pear shaped teardrops – or try your own combination of stones in your own creative style.

And of course these are great for Christmas creations to gift or sell!

Black pendant and earring jewels

A pendant and earring jewels set – opaque jet black 25x18mm pear and 8x8mm diamond shape or diagonal square glass stones!

Easy to use – just add earwires to the diagonal square earring gems. Slip a jump ring through the ring at the top of the black pear shaped teardrop pendant, and slip a chain through the jump ring. Your pendant and earrings set will be ready to wear – or gift 🙂

Of course you can make the design more complex – add a cluster of small stones you can find in my shop or dangle larger stones from the 8x8mm small squares for dangling earrings. Play with your own designs and styles!

Pink glass cushion cut octagon stones

Right now I’m just going to show off some gorgeous stones. First off – these lovely sheer pink cushion cut octagons.

The stones are 12mm x 12mm (approx. 1/2″). They’re available hand set in golden raw brass, antique patina brass, or silver plated brass settings – in one ring, two ring, or no ring styles. Note that the no ring, and two ring settings, have closed backs. Still lovely with this sheer pink!

These are wonderful for delicate pendants – and great for effortless earrings 🙂

Classic Earring Design Idea

I love this earring style – let me know if you agree 🙂 It’s classic in its simplicity – beautiful glass gems on dangling silver chain. Great movement, great sparkle, easy to make – and easy to wear! Also of course, easy to find in my my jewelry supplies shop. (Hey, I had to mention that!)

As you can see in the pic, these stones are not large – they’re 12mm x 10mm, about a half inch high. So they’re lightweight and these earrings are super comfy. Like I said – easy to make AND easy to wear. This is the way it should be!

And yes these stones are on sale from today through midnight on Saturday, November 1, 2025 – if you buy a pair you get a second pair free! Equal or lesser value, you know how that works. Just mention this blog post when you order!

Orange glass stones – new color!

The color on these glass gems, new in my jewelry supplies shop, is just so fun!

I mean, it’s vivid, it’s actually quite a lovely color, but it’s also just makes me smile. Orange is just not a Serious Color. It’s full of life and sometimes craziness and yes, I’m attributing a lot to a color. But – bright and vivid and fun!

I have another shape or two to list, but meantime take a peek at these – and just FYI, from today through Friday, October 10, 2025, if you buy any orange glass stones in my ship you get a second pair free. Just mention this blog post after you order!

Fuschia pink glass gems new in my shop!

Yes, I’ve already had some fuschia pink glass gems in my jewelry supplies shop. Fuschia is a customer favorite – it is so bold and strong a color! If you’re in the mood for pale pink… fuschia is not it. But if you love bright, vivid, and (I think) beautiful rich color – you will love these!

Take a look at two of the newest fuschia pink glass gems I have available right now:

The larger stone here is 14mm x 10mm, which is a very popular size – I think because it’s so versatile. Large enough for pendants, not huge but with definite presence – and a great size for earrings, bold but still lightweight. And I’ve used this size to make some fabulous bracelets – in two ring settings, linked with jump rings. Easy and gorgeous!

The smaller, 10x8mm octagons work beautifully with most other stone sizes and that makes them super useful. But (especially in this vivid color) they are fabulous “as is” for earrings! Tiny – but bold. (And again, very lightweight. I don’t know about you but I really appreciate that.)

Check out the new fuschia stones – I think you’ll love them! And yes, I’ll show off a few more fuschia pink combos soon. Just because!

Sapphire glass jewels – DIY necklace design

I just tried out a new(ish) necklace design idea featuring sapphire blue glass stones from my jewelry supplies shop. Sapphire is another one of those colors that’s almost universally flattering, so if you’re making a gift for someone it’s a good bet. Or if you want to sell your jewelry creations, well, sapphire can be pretty popular!

This is an example of a simple, easy-to-make jewelry design. And I called it “newish” above, because the idea of dangling gems or beads from a necklace chain is certainly not new. But I think I’ve given it a pretty spin here. The sapphire blue diamond shape stones here give extra emphasis to the central teardrop pendant. And of course you can adapt this idea so it works best for your own design idea 🙂

It’s also good to know that sapphire is the birthstone color for September. Handy to know and still lots of time to order – and create!
