More pretty red and green glass gems are on sale through this weekend! And I deliberately chose (for this pic) jewels that are sheer – and foil backed. And different shapes. These could be combined in so many creative ways (that’s your thing!) – and of course there are many more to choose from in my Etsy shop.

Back in my shop! I love these navy blue oval glass gems for Fall (or anytime of course). They’re a deep blue, sheer with no foil backing, so they’re a little smoky but still catch the light. Love them!
They’re great for earrings “as is”, of course. Also – bracelet links, glass connectors, necklace “chains” – you name it! When I get a chance I’ll post some more pics of them in use.

I made this bracelet to see how these totally clear glass cabochons would work as a bracelet. Their only color comes from the settings, and they’re not faceted – so how would they look? Would they have any sparkle?
And the answer is yes!

These gorgeous deep amethyst glass gems are vintage from the 1950s, I think – I’m using the paper they’re wrapped in as a reference (the paper has a New York phone number – and it *pre-dates* area codes!)
So aside from being true vintage, which is pretty wonderful – using stock that doesn’t have a new ecological footprint – they’re also gorgeous. Don’t you think?
