Another example of pretty, lightweight, colorful – and did I mention inexpensive? – earrings that are easy to make and easy to love. I grabbed (er…is it better to say “carefully selected”?) some glass jewels from my workbench, and combined them with pretty silver plated charms
for this design:

Try to keep weight in mind – I totally believe in comfort. Lightweight beads or jewels, combined with sparkly metal charms, link with jump rings, and your DIY jewelry is ready to gift, or sell, or wear…and I think you’ll love them!

Don’t you love it when you find a pic you’d been looking for and it turns out it was staring you right in the face? Yes, you can laugh. I just re-found this pic and it reminds me how much I love navy blue glass gems!

The color here is known as “montana sapphire” but really it’s navy blue. It looks good year round, it’s flattering to every skin tone, and it’s always in style. Well as a color, at least. Of course you need fabulous jewelry to show off that color, and as you can see I have some terrific jewel choices in that color!
