Peridot green faceted glass gems – gorgeous and affordable!

Peridot green is a favorite Spring color – and I have (knock wood) a good supply my shop right now. The earring style shown here is a great example of how to easily use these lovely stones!

I linked the peridot gaceted glass cushion cut octagon to a silver plated cable chain with a sturdy jump ring. The earring is pretty, it’s lightweight (hey comfort is important), and the chain adds movement (and more sparkle as the light hits the stone). It really can be that easy!

And yes, that’s one of the great things about DIY jewelry. You make just what you want – and you don’t have to spend a lot of money!

Sheer Garnet Glass Pear Shaped Teardrop Stones

These sheer, garnet red faceted glass gems make a wonderful pendant and earring jewels set… So if you were planning to make a jewelry set as a gift for someone special, you might keep these in mind!

These are not the only garnet glass gems I have available in my shop right now – click through to see more sizes and shapes. But these lovely faceted glass teardrops are so easy to use. Just add a simple necklace chain to the larger 25x18mm pendant, and earwires to the smaller 18x13mm pears, and your jewelry is ready to wear!

This makes a lovely jewelry set for a gift – or of course for yourself. Just saying!

P.S. Garnet is the birthstone color for January – just in case that’s helpful to know!

Bright glass jewels for DIY jewelry!

I just wanted to show off a few of the vivid, beautifully faceted glass jewels I have available in in my shop right now. Of course there are many, many more available to match just the color and shape you like best – but this is a start!

These are just some (great) examples of the jewels that you can use in wonderful combinations. But the really wonderful part is that each pair is fabulous *on its own*. Add earwires, link with jump rings to make bracelets, or slip onto a simple chain for what could be your favorite necklace!

Of course that’s the beauty of DIY jewelry: you can make exactly what you want, and you don’t have to spend a whole lot of time (or money!) to get fabulous jewelry!

Emerald Glass Gems – the May birthstone color!

May is only a few weeks away – and emerald green, that rich, gorgeous color, is the birthstone color for May. So I wanted to show off the pear shaped teardrops I have right now! Of course those aren’t the only emerald glass stones I have in my shop but they really are fabulous (and so easy to use!)

These earring and pendant jewels are probably the most requested size jewels in my shop. The 18x13mm teardrops are perfect for earrings (just add earwires!) And the larger, 25x18mm pendant jewel, is fabulous on a simple chain.

Of course you can add components to make these more complex and lovely – but for easy to use, lovely, and affordable glass jewels, these are absolute champs!
