I’m showing off a few of the styles I have in my shop of the color known as “light Colorado topaz” I think (am NOT sure, this is what I’ve been told) that the color name originated with Swarovski rhinestones made in Austria earlier in the 1900s. Swarovski is the creme de la creme (I think that’s the phrase!) of glass rhinestone jewels and a lot has been, hmm, borrowed from them.
These stones aren’t Swarovski – last I heard, those weren’t being sold except to wholesale manufacturers though that may change soon. But they are still considered the pinnacle of beautifully made and high quality stones. And these are a pretty good comparison!

As as you can see, these stones are lovely. They’re not Swarovski (and fortunately about one-quarter the cost??) But they’re special, and well made, and of course if you want to try them out I’d be happy to oblige 🙂 So just in the spirit of learning and trying stuff, from now through midnight on Sunday, June 21, 2026, if you buy any Light Colorado Topaz glass stones in my shop, you get a second pair free! While supplies last and all that (but I did just restock recently so that should work).
Have fun learning!
